French Riviera monument : Greolieres in Gréolières

Situated at the foot of Le Cheiron, Gréolières keeps a watchful eye on the Vallée du Loup. Dominated by the medieval ruins of Les Hautes Gréolières, the village unfolds along its lively narrow streets with, in particular, a Romanesque parish church containing a 15th-century altar-piece by a painter from the School of Nice. For fans of skiing and especially cross-country skiing, Gréolières-les-Neiges is an ideal family resort with a skiing domain of about thirty kilometers.
