FORT-ROYAL
The Fort-Royal, on Sainte-Marguerite's Island became a state prison in 1685 and played host to the legendary Man in the Iron Mask. Vauban was responsible for its final appearance. Visit the Musée de la Mer to see the collections of underwater archaeology.
