French Riviera monument : Eglise Saint-michel in Villefranche-sur-mer

In the Old Town. Built in the 14th century, it was transformed to suit contemporary taste in the mid-18th century. It contains a recumbent figure of Christ sculpted in fig-tree wood by a galley-slave.
