French Riviera monument : Chapelle Sainte-croix in Saint-martin-vésubie

The chapel has a small square bell tower topped with a silver bulb and the facade is decorated with a sculpture of the Descent from the Cross. The interior dates from the 17th century and includes a lage retable along with a wooden sculpted high altar. A white lacquered and gilded wood sepulchre located under the high altar encloses a full size statue of Christ.
