Cook the rice in a pan (with milk or water) for 7 to 8 minutes.
Wash the vegetables. Cut the zucchinis or the gourd into cubes (you can store them in olive oil). Thinly chop the onion, the garlic, the parsley, the basil, and the lean bacon (optional).
Grate the cheese. Fry the onions until they get light brown. Mix all these ingredients in a pot. Pour oil 4 to 5 cm thick in a plate, add the mixture and the grated bread.
Cook in the oven at 150° for 30 to 40 minutes. Brown it.
Note: there are many other options for the 'tian' recipe.
You can prepare it without rice, with a small amount of rice (our recipe), or with 0.50kgs of rice
