From 20-23 of May 2009, the city of Valbonne invites you to watch street performances. Here is the programme:

Wednesday 20th May at 3:30pm and 5:30pm
Médiathèque of Sophia
- "La Jeune Prince et la Vérité" - a play in French written by JC Carrière, put on by the Orphéon Théâtre Intérieur company.

Friday 22nd May at 7:00pm
Village
- Start at Rue Alexis Julien or in front of the old town hall
- "Ad Libitum" by the company Antipodes - an urban and chorepgraphed writing in the public square

at 8:45pm
Place Méjane
- "T'as de beaux veux tu sais...Carabosse" a show in French by the illustrious Burattini family
- Theatrical classic that raises disrespect in line with virtue..!

Saturday 23rd May at 6:00pm
Bermond Farms Gardens
- "Calao" by the company Rouge Eléa

Description
The Village of Valbonne invites you to the Festival of Saint Jean on Tuesday the 24th June from 7pm to midnight at the place of Arcades.

For this occasion, the aperitif will be given by the local authority and there will be musical entertainment and magic shows.

Sculpture of balloons and face painting will delight the youngsters!

At 10pm, come to jump the traditional fire of Saint Jean!

Description
From the 21st to the 24th of March, the association Les Visiteurs du Soir organises a cinema festival junior for children from 6 to 14 years.

Program:
- Projections of movies : Survivre avec les loups (from 10 years old, the 21st of March at 20 :30pm and the 24th of March at 6pm), Max and Co (from 7 years old, the 22nd of March at 3pm and the 24th of March at 3pm), Hop (from 10 years old, the 22nd of March at 5pm), Vitus, L'enfant prodige (from 8 years old, the 22nd of March at 8:30pm), Tous à l'Ouest : une aventure de Lucky Luke (from 6 years old, the 23rd of March at 3pm and the 24th of March at 11am), le Dragon des mers (from 8 years old, the 22nd of March at 10:30am and the 23rd at 10:30am) and Sa majesté des Mouches (from 11 years old, the 23rd of March at 8:30pm)

- Short films : Imago and Rien de Grave

- Visit of the projection cabin in groups of 5, a half-hour before the projection from 3pm to 6pm with inscriptions at the till.

- A quiz on the Cinéma with DVD, cinema seats and cinema tickets to win!

- A Cine-snack

- Meeting with the writer Valentine Goby the 22nd of March at 6 :45pm

- 10 minutes of Magic with Magics Shambo!

- And discover the well-known cinema venues : Hollywood and Cannes

All the movies are projected in French, except Sa Majesté des Mouches that will be projected in English with French subtitled.

Description
For the St Blaise festival, Valbonne has organised a party week-end and especially on Saturday children can come and participate in the fun too!

From 2pm to 5:30pm, there is the Children's Carnival: parades, animations and workshops.

At 2:30pm a kids' parade with Mr and Mrs Carnival and the drama troop Begat Théâtre ; at 3pm a fancy dress contest and at 4:30pm free hot chocolate for kids and free mulled wine for parents.

And the best for the end, come to see the KLEZMER Circus: circus, music and cabaret. Reservation: 04.93.12.32.30.
