Description
The objective of the municipal libraries is to allow readers, chidren and adults, French and foreign, to find essential materials for their research and leisure. The two libraries are autonomous and their collections are equal and complementary to one another. The two libraries are:

Throughout the year, local and national activities are presented to an enthusiastic and large public. In addition to the activities proposed around books, the libraries organize writing and illustration workshops, and lead a reading group.

The BMVR network of Nice (Bibliothèque Municipale à Vocation Régionale) consists of all of the municipal libraries of the city: Louis-Nucéra library,(Nice's main library), Patrimoniale Romain-Gary library, libraries of the different residential areas, associated libraries, mediabus ....
