Discovery workshops: experienced teachers will welcome children and adults for all sorts of workshops - percussion, djembe, keyboard, and steel drum (duration: 1 hour / free entrance)

Description
On the 21st, 22nd, and 23rd of May 2009, Jacques Prévert presents the 13th Intercommunal Festival of Street Theatre in Gattières, Le Broc, and Carros. During the three day festival, the program will be filled with activities for everyone, and there will also be special activities for children.

The performances will take place in multiple destinations.

Description
The town of Carros is organising the Olive Tree Festival and a Spring Fair on Sunday, April 5, 2009. For the first time, these two events are happening on the same day, both at Place bu Puy, in the heart of the village of Carros.

The day will include:
- local hand crafted items
- olive oil competition
- games and activities for children
- and more!

Celebrations begin at 8:00am and conclude at 6:00pm.

The 30th & 31st of May and the 1st of June, the National Association of First Aid will be organising the International Meetings of First Aid at Carros, with Denise Fabre.

Programme:
- Friday the 16th and Saturday the 17th of May & Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th of May: demonstrations and initiations of first aid in the shopping mall of CAP 3000 the 16th and the 17th of May and in the shopping centre Nice Lingostière on the 23rd and the 24th of May.
- Friday the 30th of May: welcome of school groups in the Parc Citoyen, conferences with many speakers, Board of Directors…
- Saturday 31st of May: official ceremony, conferences, entertainment in the Parc Citoyen for all…
- Sunday 1st of June: conferences, entertainment in the Parc Citoyen, tombola draw…

The entertainment will include : hot-air balloon rides, scuba diving in the swimming-pool, demonstrations of research dogs, climbing wall, course of young firemen, rally Parc Citoyen, swimming-pool: initiation to first aid and many prizes to win!
