This unique townhouse was built around 1850. It is located in the very heart of Saint Tropez (a two-minute walk from the Vieux Port or the Place des Lices).
Its former owner, the famous French hairdresser, Alexandre de Paris, was born and bred in Saint Tropez. He restored the house and, in the course of numerous renovation projects and by paying particular attention to the interior design, transformed it into the height of Baroque sophistication.
Recently turned into a luxurious and charming hotel, La Mistralée offers ten bedrooms of which two are suites. Each room is furnished to satisfy guests' every need (climate control, flat-screen LCD television and satellite TV, mini-bar, safe, wireless Internet access and more).
The discreet service and peace and quiet available at La Mistralée are a welcome contrast to the hustle and bustle of the town in summer. The Mistralee hotel is in a unique idyllic area.
The interior design of each room has been given a personal touch adding to the originality of the hotel.
Relaxing moments can be savoured under the splendid 19th century canopy imported from England ...
... or in the drawing room where high ceilings, Corinthian columns and stained glass windows all give the feeling of being part of the renaissance period. The baroque style hearth is the central piece of this sophisticated yet comfortable space, which is drawn together with a harmonious and warm colour scheme of golds and bronze.
Other areas in which guests can relax include the small sitting room and main sitting room.
